Fleetstar at 2014 ACBS Show in NH
Randy from Amesbury, MA sent over this link to a video of him and his 58 Fleetstar at the 2014 ACBS show in Meredith,NH. Randy appears at the 21:51 mark in the video. He has a great story of how he came to own his boat.
Thank so much Jim. Really inspirational.

It is a great story. I still have my 1961 Fleetstar (owned since new) and restoration to original specs is almost done. I will post some pictures. I will make a short video to share with everyone as well. I really cannot tell you how much I appreciate what you have done getting the website up and continuing the HiLiner story which is very dear to me. Gerry,
Thanks for the note. Please email me your pictures when you can. I haven’t figured out how to allow other users to post pictures on this site.
Side note: I grew up in Sayreville, NJ, and spent quite a bit of my misspent youth playing hockey in Brick.
Thanks
Jim

Beautiful…I have the same boat featured in this video. Mine is a 1959 ,HiLiner Fleetstar. My grandfather bought it new in 1959… I restored it myself to its original beauty and is now my sunset cruiser on Lake Chargoggagoggmanchoggagoggchubunagungamaug in Webster Mass. It is powered by a 1958 Evinrude Lark ll 40hp. What a head turner when pulling up to the lakefront restaurants.
I truly enjoyed watching all these boats and their owners dedication and passion for the same love I have.
Calm seas to all,
Ted McManus
