Hello subscribers. I received this question and I’m hoping the community can help with an answer.
I’m redoing the convertible top on my 1957 Fleet Star. I have the original frame but not the attachment pieces nor the hinges. My question: does the base of the frame attach directly to the hinge, or is there a slider section that attaches to the hinge and slips over the base of the frame, thus allowing the frame to slide forward to fit under the covering dashboard?
Would still like to find a Coast Clipper in decent shape.
